Barbara Hardmeier puts a spell of light and love on you whether it’s in form of painting, dance or martial. A multi talent of today’s society.
Besides plenty of special honors and awards attained at events and institutions such as the Anglo -Italian Academy of Art, or at the Chianciano Biennale 2012, the artist expresses herself not only through the universal language of art but also through 8 spoken languages: Spanish, French, Italian, German, Swiss German as well as English, Dutch and Chinese. Her interests are as universal as her talents.
Taiji and Qigong bring fulfillment to the artist’s life. As a martial art teacher, she offer Taiji and Qigong workshops and thus actively supports society with the aim to keep people healthy and happy. Barbara’s balanced and fulfilled persona has a direct reflection on her art, which drags you into a world of harmony and happiness.
Daisaku Ikeda, a Buddhist leader and role model of Barbara once said: “Life is painful. It has thorns. Like the stem of a rose. Culture and art are those that bloom on the stem. The flower is yourself, your humanity. Art is the liberation of the humanity, inside yourself”.
Believe it or not - Barbara’s art is the one, which sets humanity free.
